Good News!

Most of you that read my blog know that I am pregnant, if not..surprise. I think that my due date is January 15th, but since we found out that I am having twins at the last ultrasound, I will probably have them in December. Twin pregnancies usually only make it to 38 weeks. We are excited and scared at the same time(and maybe feeling a little shock). I have felt the impact of real morning and evening sickness this pregnancy. I have been on a medication called Phenegran for the nausea, but this medication seems to put me to sleep. Whenever I have tried to take more that a quarter of a pill I have gone to bed at 8pm and slept until 8am. Not so good for getting things done when the kids go to sleep. The good news is that I called to get a prescription for Zofran yesterday, which is an expensive medication referred to as the "wonder drug" for sick pregnant women, the doctors office didn't think that my insurance would cover the $900 it costs for 12 pills, but in fact my insurance is only making me pay the $10 co-pay. This medication should make my trip to New York next week much more pleasant.

The kids seem to be doing good with the news. Jackson is very concerned about the "two babies that are making mom sick", but he said this week that he can't wait until the babies are here and he can help. He told me that all babies do is poop and sleep. He will be a big help! He is already so concerned about his brother Sam and keeping him out of trouble. He hopes that we have one boy and one girl. He wants a sister, but not more than one. He says the funniest things these days. Sam on the other hand will be in for a shock when he is no longer the baby of the family. There are a lot of changes in store for him and I hope that I can help ease him into these changes over the next 6 months.

Anyway on a sad note, I threw my cell phone away at a concert last week and cannot call anyone long distance on my home phone. So, if you live in Arizona (Shantel) and have called me recently, I will call you just as soon as I get my new cell phone. Hopefully this will be later today. I really want to hear about your Newport vacation and give you more details of our new development.
