Learning to Play

The girls have had an exciting month. Both Kate and Sophie started rolling over at 3 and a half months, which is pretty early. They learned to roll over within a day of each other which is odd to me because they seem so different in their interests and physical strength.

They love their Tiny Love Play Gym (slide show below). All of my kids have loved this toy at 2-5 months. Each have learned to grasp objects while laying in the gym and will stare at the fun toys above. Now that the girls can roll over, they look at the jungle pictures on the mat. It is so fun to see their rapid development. One day they are just reaching for an object and the next day they can grab it and the next they are playing with it. One funny thing is that they grab on to the animals and can't figure out how to let go. Their grasp is so firm, they get stuck there for a while. It is such a fun and exhausting age at the same time. Both of them had their first ear infection this week. Again, within a day of each other and in the same ear...odd.

Sorry about the ear infections. Put a drop of mineral oil in their ears for one week every month. It prevents infections. M was about to get tubes until we tried it, and she hasn't had a probalem since. Your girls are growing so fast. Too cute!

Hello Tara! It was good to hear from you and to see pictures of your adorable kids. You have a beautiful family. And congratulations on the twins! I have a tremendous amount of respect for you...one baby is plenty of work, I can't imagine 2 at a time. Keep in touch!

Tara! thanks for leaving the comment... it's great to hear from you. Don't you love finding old friends in the blog world??? Congrats on the twins and your adorable family. I don't know how you do it, i can barely manage to get through a sane day with my 3.

Now that I'm related to Rocky (through Lance) I see him every once in a while. We laugh about him being my 1st boyfriend! GOOD TIMES!!! :)
