Yesterday Jon and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. Neither of us can believe that we have had such an eventful 8th year. Last year at this time we were just taking in the news that we were having twins. The pregnancy had totally taken us by surprise and Jon commented the other day that the fact that we were having three kids was harder to take in than finding out that there were two babies coming (I may argue that the look of shock on his face was much greater when we found out about the twins). This last year we have experienced every emotion to the fullest degree. We have experienced the most challenging, trying, fun, happy and rewarding times that we have experienced in our 8 years together. I am grateful to have Jon by my side through all of these experiences.
Thank you Allyson and Lindsay for watching our four kids last night. We were able to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing dinner at Market Street. I can't explain how nice it is to be able to spend a night out by ourselves after a long 6 months with these cute kids.
