Halloween

Halloween was bittersweet this year. I usually love Halloween, but this year my grandmother passed away just a few days before. I am happy that my grandma has moved on, since her life here wasn't of the quality that I would want for her. It was, in way, a happy time for me to remember her life, however, Halloween became just another day. We did go to Jackson's school parade and also did some trick-or-treating. This was Jackson's first year really hitting the whole neighborhood. He and Sam went out with Jon and some of their friends. They thought it was great! Later cousins came over for Mimi's Corn Chowder and breadsticks.

My name is Astyn and I am a friend of Allyson. She had mentioned that you had identical twin girls. My husband and I have twin girls that are 3mo old. I am glad to see that you are doing so well.....it gives us encouragement that things will get less hectic. Do they ever get less hectic? Perhaps only wishful thinking. Your kids are very cute.

Hi Astyn...I remember you. Congrats on your twins. Every month gets easier. I have had so much fun with the girls since they turned 6 months. I can hardly remember the first few months. It was survival mode for us. Other moms with twins have told me that the first year is the hardest, the second is still hard, but after that they are so much fun. I am already having fun so it is good to know that it will get even better. My e-mail is taralward@yahoo.com. Keep in touch.
