Last week I got together with my highschool girlfriends for lunch. My friend Britany was visiting from AZ which gave us a wonderful excuse for another get-together. When Brit's daughter Maya was a baby, I babysat her a couple days a week. She and Sam were only 5 months apart and I started tending her when Sam was only a month old. It was great preparation for what I had ahead with my twins. I value that life experience. Maya and Sam are now 4 and don't have any recollection of the time they spent together, but it is still fun to get-together.
Thanks to Shantel for hosting the event. It was a crazy crowd with 14 kids among the 7 of us girls. The food was delicious and the kids were entertaining.
