I am currently recovering from a great weekend in Vegas. I say recovering because I always feel so tired when I return from a trip away from the kids. I tease myself and think that the break will help me feel refreshed and ready to be a great mom, but when I return I end up feeling overwhelmed by the littlest things, like dirty diapers and fixing lunch. I still love taking the breaks even if the time I spend away makes taking care of kids harder when I return. Aside from that, it was a great trip. My mom, grandma, aunt Cindy, sister and cousin were with me. We went to watch Whitney in a ballroom competition and decided to make a weekend of it. My dad joined us for the competitions but would not come shopping. Though, he did give me a bag of quarters which I took to the casino bank to change into money for shopping. We were able to go to our favorite buffet at the Paris as well as see the new Phantom production at the Venetian. We stayed at Trump Tower and had an awsome suite. We did some shopping at the Premium Outlets as well as at the Fashion Show Mall which was directly accross the street from us. It was a great trip with the girls and it was also a good celebration for my mom and aunts 50th birthday.

Looks like you had fun in Vegas... Whitney is such a good little dancer. It must be fun having both your parents on trips now.
