We have a hard time trying to enjoy the winter. Jon and I both could due without the cold weather. This year, however, we have enjoyed it just a little bit. Jack has been learning to ski and I have joined him on two occasions. Jack did great in ski school which he did every Saturday in December. He went from a beginner to level 3 skier in 3 weeks. Jack and I are trying to go skiing every Friday after school. I used to ski all of the time, but haven't been since Jon and I got married. Now that I have a skiing partner, I hope to go much more frequently. I have to say that I was a bit nervous my first time up. I was hoping not to humiliate myself in front of our friends who ski every week. Luckily, I haven't fell yet. Skiing is one of those things that just comes back to you.

Jon, myself and the boys enjoyed a fun trip to Soldier Hollow, just today. This has become a neighborhood tradition. The boys had a blast tubing down the hill. Jon and I got a voucher to come back when the hill was a little more slick. It was almost 50 degrees up in Midway today. After tubing we met some friends and enjoyed a nice pizza dinner at Milawi's at The River Bottoms in Provo. It was a fun day with the boys and our neighbor friends.
