Sam at his pre-school party
Jack's school paradeWe had many chances to wear costumes this Halloween. From school parades to church parties to the grand finale of trick-or-treating the kids had a blast dressing up and celebrating. Our ward party includes a haunted house which was most likely the highlight of the events.
Saturday night was a little grim as the girls both came down with the stomach flu and stayed home with dad while I went out with some of our friends to trick-or-treat. Jack really enjoyed hitting the whole neighborhood this year and luckily the weather was pretty mild. One of our neighbors was dressed up as "Jason" and had his chainsaw going along with some bloody (fake) ribs and a leg that Sam thought was real. That was a treat! I ended up carrying Sam home after his legs gave out. Next year we will remember the wagon.
