New Moon Experience.Part One

The New Moon Party waiting for the show...oops we were early!

Yes, I hit the new show with the rest of the groupies this year. Last year I waited a couple days, but since one of my neighbor headed up a party at the South Town Expo Center, my neighbor friends and I decided to try it out. We of course began our evening by eating at Tsunami. We could be officially titled "The Tsunami Ladies" since that is the only place we eat when we get together. It is very good even though I am not a sushi lover. After Tsunami we headed to the "New Moon" party. We got manicures and massages and we were able to see the lovely fountain from the movie (pretty tiny).

At 11pm. we headed across the street to the movie theatre where we learned that the tickets we received from the little package we purchased were for the 12:40am. showing rather than the midnight showing that it seemed everyone else had tickets for. We waited and waited and finally were able to get to our seats where I almost resorted to taking a two hour nap rather than stay awake for the movie. I decided to finish what I had started and watch the movie. It was much better than the first movie, but still a bit short of a Harry Potter comparison. I don't know what it is, but they can't seem to get the whole vampire and werewolf thing right. I am a lover of the books though and was pretty satisfied with the portrayal, but thought there was still room for improvement. I hope they get Eclipse right, that is my favorite!!
