Hiking at Donut Falls
The Dinosaur Museum with cousins
Jack and Maggie
Sam. Luke and Jack at YubaI finally have some time to update my blog. It is really the only record of family events that we have, so I thought that I would jot down the events of summer 2010...
We started off our summer with a very rainy camping trip at Yuba Lake. We have made this an annual trip with our good neighbors and friends. Their wasn't a lot of boating with the great weather, but I did manage to go water skiing in the rain for my first time ever. Luckily my friend Kim was kind enough to lend me a wetsuit. One highlight to that trip is that Jon put his wet suit on backwards the first time. My neighbor, Scott had a good laugh at that one.
Next, we adopted a Yorkie named, Maggie. She is a pretty good dog. She is Jackson's dog and he earned her with good grades, hard work and a lot of whining about not having a pet. Now he has one, we will see how long we can handle it.
Sam's birthday is always a fun part of the summer. He is our only summer birthday. His July birthday has been a headache as far as decisions for school goes, but it is always a fun birthday party.
We went to the Aquarium for the much awaited Penguin exhibit. We also hit the Dinosaur Museum a couple of times. We did a lot of swimming and enjoyed our first time at a splash pad. In July went to Matthews cabin up above Kamas and the Ward cabin in Sundance and enjoyed a few barbeques.
Last but definately not least, we went to The Ute Stampede in Nephi and had a great time.
It was a fun Summer!
