Cinderella
Trick-or-Treating at our house
Bobba Fett SamWhat a fun Halloween. It seemed like the kids were in costumes all week long. Which is great for getting our moneys worth. Our first Halloween event was our ward Halloween Carnival. The carnival has booths that the kids can go around and participate in such as eating marshmellows on a string and a ring toss. The favorite for our kids is the Haunted Hallway. We went through the hall many times that night. The girls have really been into seeing witches and ghosts this year. Soph was scared a little later in the night when the hallway turns a little more haunted for the big kids. She begged us to take her through and was scared by the people that were scaring us.
The next day was the Halloween Parade at Jack's school and Sam had a school party. We watched Jack in the parade, took Sam to his party, then I went back to help at Jack's party. The kids had a lot of fun.
Halloween day was spent getting ready for our little "after party". We have Jon's family over after trick-or-treating so that the kids get to see eachother in their costume. Jack and Sam went trick-or-treating with The Duffins and The Watsons. We had hot chocolate at The Duffins house to get warm and then came home to see Grandma and Grandpa Ward and the rest of the family. The highlight of the night for Kate and Sophie was trick-or-treating at our own house. My dad was holding down the fort and they were too scared to say trick-or-treat at any of the other houses, so I took them home to hand out candy with my dad. It was a fun first attempt at trick-or-treating for them. Jack hit a majority of our neighborhood, but was happy to come home and get out of the rain!
