A lot of time has passed since I jotted anything down on here, I just downloaded about 1000 pictures from summer and even late spring. It would take forever to catch up, so I probably won't. However, the first day of school for the kiddos is definately worth a blog post.

Jack started on the 22nd of August, he was excited the night before. I had tears in my eyes because I have had such a great time with him all summer. He is a big helper and it is hard to send your helper off to school when you still have 3 left at home. He was a little sad when he woke up. He was so used to his lax summer schedule that having to get up early and go didn't quite appeal to him. He did fine and has an excellent teacher, though I don't think anyone will ever top his 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Saadeh. She is a forever friend to our family. I talked with Ms. Saadeh the other day and I am pretty sure Jack has talked to her every day since school started even though she isn't his teacher anymore. I will be sad when we change schools in two years. It is so nice to know that those relationships exist with previous teachers and faculty. We will have to start all over again. Our new school will be closer to home and that will be nice.
